Lucy is the founder and creative force behind Glimmers in Art, by Lucy. With a professional background in education, including a Bachelor of Teaching and a Bachelor of Education, she blends her passion for learning with a deep love for artistic expression.
Her work is centered around the concept of "glimmers" - those small, radiant moments of joy, resilience, and connection that spark a positive emotional response. Specialising in original hand-painted works, Lucy creates soulful and captivating pieces that range from intricate watercolours to luminous contemporary statement pieces.
Based in Jindera, New South Wales, Lucy operates a local studio where she offers both finished fine art and bespoke commissions. Beyond her own practice, she is dedicated to sharing the joy of creativity with other through community classes and collaborative events, turning the act of painting into a celebration of community and self-expression.
